Ways to donate to the future of this trail

1. Help us build more trail!

A donation of $100 will allow a metre of trail to be added to the spectacular Wild Pacific Trail. Donations of $1,000 or more will be recognized by name and the number of metres they have contributed to on a special plaque.

2. Partners and funders for land purchase Wild Pacific Trail

The WPTS has a fund for the purchase of land to protect the green space near the Wild Pacific Trail. The trail itself has been set aside by the community of Ucluelet for public use and enjoyment, but some of the land near the trail is privately owned. Help us purchase sections of currently undeveloped land as park space! We are interested in partners in such an effort in cooperation with the district of Ucluelet.

3. Benefactor

We are also looking for visionary sponsors to purchase acreage lots to create wilderness park land to preserve the trail in its natural setting. The coastal rainforest is a very fragile ecosystem, especially vulnerable to human impact. It is therefore our goal to preserve as much of this environment as possible with the added benefit of showcasing the coastline to hikers.

Green space campaign A new fundraising initiative by the Wild Pacific Trail Society
hopes to purchase a 13 acre parcel of land zoned for a resort development
to expand the adjacent park rich with old growth trees.

Trail Phase 5-7 (planned)

Phases 5 - 7 would extend the trail to Halfmoon Bay, in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve
